Decoration Slot Level has no impact on your skill level, they are only meant to limit what type of decorations/skills you can use in a weapon/armor slot.

This can be done by unlocking 4* Hub Quests as well as Gathering Hub Key Quests, or via special 'urgent' quests called 'Special License Tests' through Village Quests.ĭecorations are divided into 4 levels: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. To unlock decorations the player must progress through the game to reach High Rank. For Master Rank Weapons, players can look for the Rampage Decorations that were introduced during the Sunbreak Expansion which are equipped specifically to Master Rank Weapons in order to gain or boost Skills. Players can find special icons denoting the slot level available for each equipment piece. Decorations in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise) can be placed into Weapons and Armor to gain or enhance Skills.
